Ministry of Culture presided over the welcoming ceremony to mark the return of two ancient hand-carved artifacts


On 31 May 2021, H.E. Mr. Itthiphol Kunplome, Minister of Culture presided over the welcoming ceremony to mark the return of two ancient hand-carved artifacts, lintels from Prasat Nong Hong ancient temple in Buri Ram and the Prasat Khao Lon sanctuary in Sa Kaeo. These artifacts will assessed whether they can be returned to their original locations.

Also attending this ceremony were Mr. Poramase Ngampiches, Vice Minister for Culture, Mrs. Yupha Taweewattanakitborvon, Permanent Secretary for Culture, Mr Prateep Phengtako, Director-General of the Fine Arts Department, Mr. Wira Khaengkasikarn, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Education, Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Director-General of the Department of Information and Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other related departments and officers at the National Museum, Bangkok.
